Over £3,500 worth of prizes to be won !! The Batsford Prize 2026 is giving you the theme of ‘Connections’ and we want to know what that means to YOU!

The judges are looking for entries that show innovative and well-crafted interpretations of the theme, in terms of subject or materials used, or a combination of the two.

Established over a decade ago, The Batsford Prize is open for undergraduate and postgraduate students studying at a UK institution.

We're hiring!

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Batsford Books for a Production & Office Assistant.

This entry level position involves working closely with the Production Director and the production team on a wide range of colour and mono books. Responsibilities include managing reprint schedules, overseeing the updates and print process through to final delivery, and some office management responsibilities.

Some experience in book production is preferable but not essential. Applicants must demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, teamwork and flexibility. Knowledge of Indesign and Adobe desirable.
